Settlers Tavern Music and Events
Due to current WA Phase 4 COVID-19 restrictions our capacity to host live events is limited.
Since 1977, Settlers has been home to Margaret River’s live music scene. A local, iconic south west venue, the Tav has been awarded Hall of Fame status at the Australian Hospitality Awards (WA) for ‘Best Entertainment Venue’ three years running (2013 – 15).
We book over 150 live acts every year, from local bands to national stars such as Peter Garrett, Birds of Tokyo and San Cisco.
You’ll find live music happening every Friday and Saturday night and alternate Sunday afternoon sessions on the sunny verandah from 3.30 – 6.30pm. The Sunday sessions run weekly from December to February.
Every fortnight, or weekly from December to February, we hold Open Mic nights, where we encourage local musicians to come along and participate in a live acoustic session. You can book in for a session, via the Open Mic Facebook page.
Most of our gigs are free (unless specified) with doors opening at 9.30pm.
