TIDE I

“Tide I” is the latest project from local musician Darren Guthrie. Having performed in the live music scene since 2010 across a variety of acts, and touring Australia since 2014 with his original project Guthrie / Guthrie Trio, Darren has had a solid 15+ years entertaining audiences across a wide variety of events & festivals.

Darren created ”Tide I” with the intent to have fun covering songs that were nostalgic to him growing up during the 1990s & 2000s in the days of “MTV”, “TV Hits”, “Rage” & “So Fresh: Hits of Summer”. This has since expanded to include many nostalgic covers from the 1950s to 1980s, making Tide I’s performance a family friendly experience that appeals to most age groups. “Tide I” covers a variety of genres including Pop, Rock, Punk, Country, Reggae & Blues.

“Tide I” provides a fun performance that keeps the audience singing along, and guarantees to leave them with a smile when the gig is over.
