Award winning, Perth Singer-Songwriter Rochelle travels ‘The Water’ to Margaret River.
Rochelle O’Reilly, a 2x nominated and recent winner of the Global Category in the 2024 WAM Song of the year, has travelled to many lands to infuse life and culture into her compositions. Performing, recording and shooting videos in various locations, ranging from the woods of Gosnells to a cliff edge in Mauritius.
Whether she’s singing ‘Freedom’ with a local Perth Indigenous dance group or collaborating with International Creole artists singing ‘We are one’ her message of community remains the same ‘no race, no type, no religion, can define us, we are one’.
Rochelle’s award-winning hit ‘The Water’ was recorded in February 2024 with a local band in Denpasar, Indonesia. This visionary song inspires us to lift ourselves up and turn our water pail into a crown, symbolising the weight of our trials in life.
Rochelle is regularly played on Perth local radio stations and has graced many venues and festivals. Fast becoming known for her happy and positive spirit in music, that will bring you down to earth yet leave you empowered and inspired!
