Playing SOLO for a fun acoustic Sunday Session at Settlers Tavern

Returning to Western Australia from his February 2023 ‘AWA BLUES’ Tour.

Grant Haua makes his way to WA from a long European tour with his label Dixie Frog Records. Promoting new album ‘MANA BLUES’ released in September 2023.

On Mana Blues, The Maori wizard has shifted from previous acoustic guitar to an album full of electrifying his playing and appealing to influences some would say as, ‘old school rock’.

Mana Blues album is a full heat felt journey from heavy hearted war theme songs ‘Pukehinahina’ and ‘Embers’ to the light and uplifting daily reflections of life with ‘Aches’, ‘Blame it on a Monday’ and ‘Good Stuff’.

Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist on 8 studio albums Grant’s previous album AWA Blues was a top 25 Album of the year in Rolling Stone Magazine France in 2021.

‘This is the Place’ track on the album debuted at No.1 on New Zealand’s iTunes Blues charts.

Grant is no stranger to WA, touring annually in the West between 2015 and 2019 with New Zealand’s most influential duo; ‘Swamp Thing” including mesmerising performances at Nannup and Bridgetown Music Festivals.

Following his own path and love of Soul/Blues songwriting and performing, Grant departed Swamp Thing in 2019 pursuing his own solo career.

Europe has embraced Grant Haua’s unique sound with his powerful vocals and blistering fingers on the guitar, leading onto the signing by French label, Dixie Frog records followed by a tour through Europe in 2022 and 2023. Grant’s highlight of the Europe tour; performing a full set on iconic German Music TV Show Rockpalast.

2022 European reviews likened Grant Haua to Stevie Ray Vaughn, JJ Cale and Taj Mahal.

“Seems like this is Grant Haua’s time to shine” with his polished powerful live performances backed by multiple studio albums leave no doubt, Grant Haua is here!

Grant Haua shall be accompanied on stage for the Western Australia ‘MANA BLUES TOUR’ 2023 by WA’s own The Soul Decree: John Wilson on Bass Guitar, Marcus Tromp on Drums and the captivating support vocals of Elise Lux.

This ‘Salt of the Earth’ humble guy leaves nothing behind on stage after every performance.

Grant Haua delivers diversity in Soul and Blues/Rock like no other, from acoustic ballads to riff grinding foot stomping make ya heels burn music.

If you only do one live music gig per year, this is the one for you not to miss!
