DYLAN HUTCHINS

Dylan was born in Kalamunda out of Swan Districts, Western Australia in 1995, picked up his first guitar at 8 and started putting pen to paper not long after. He started his carpentry apprenticeship at 14 and spent most of the next 12 years in the trade and a handful in rural exploration.
At 26 years old, that was it – he’d had enough and took the dive. From starting out playing locals pubs and busking at events to playing across WA for pubs, bars, corporations, mine sites agricultural shows and events. While developing his original career as well.
When you hear his music you can expect to hear the influences of Chris Stapleton, James Bay & John Mayer, one of his favourite quotations from the drummer that played on his upcoming single ‘It’s like Pearl Jam went Country’ and that has been one of his most humbling verdicts yet.
Dylan always said, his music is for those who’ve had a tough day, they get home grab a beverage and put on one of his songs. The reality is, it can be pretty tough out there and it certainly ain’t fair. But through the journey we travel and the things we experience through all the good and the bad, he hopes to write songs that we can all relate as truly believe we are all in the struggle together to find our purpose.
