It’s a new year and MAD FAP are BACK in MARGARET RIVER at SETTLERS TAVERN to proudly present A HOT SUMMER FAP! Featuring a flavoursome range of styles and sounds from HIP-HOP and ROCK, this FREE ENTRY event kicks off at 10PM on SATURDAY JANUARY 14TH!

BLUNTFIELD
Hailing from Perth, bringing a conscious and comical approach to music, emcee BLUNTFIELD is a four-time West Australian Music Industry ‘Song Of The Year’ finalist, having toured with Aussie Hip-Hop giants Butterfingers and Seth Sentry, along with sharing the stage with the likes of Chris Webby, Dizzy Wright, Downsyde, Hopsin, The Four Owls, Merkules, Ocean Wisdom, Swollen Members and Tech N9ne. He has performed at Caloundra Music Festival, Southbound Festival, Nimbin MardiGrass, RottoFest, Nannup Music Festival, Perth Fringe World & at more than 20 sold-out shows with ‘Comedians vs Rappers’, as well as taking out the 30 man elimination ‘War of the Words’ tournament. With a new mixtape set for release in Summer, Bluntfield returns home to WA for a slew of shows including A HOT SUMMERS FAP!

Reminiscent of House of Pain and Cypress Hill and currently signed through Bewilderbeats Records (Butterfingers label) Logans own EAST COAST ALIEN fuses a fresj mix of influences including punk, hip-hop and skate culture. Having played big stages Such as NightQuarter and The Fortitude Music Hall, a national tour with Butterfingers and his original music consistently featured on the latest season of Housos, ECA’s built a cult following on the underground scene, with recent collaborations featuring Bluntfield setting up a joint EP release and expansion of tours in 2023.

LOCKES
New York born-Australian educated LOCKES is an RnB singer & MC who made her way into the underground Perth Hip-Hop scene late 2021; writing her first track and exploring the genre- since then she’s been on a fast paced trajectory of exploration under Fly Trap Mafia, to enhance her lyricism & fine tailor her sound all to lead to the culmination of her first single due to release by the end of Summer ‘23
PONYFISH
Bunbury-based band PONYFISH seems to have disparate influences that should not work well together: Traditional Blues, Jack White, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Stones and Aussie Pub-Rock…however, Ponyfish take all of this and forge their own musical blend that is visually and sonically unique, raw and IN YOUR FACE! The Live recording found on their latest EP ‘Anytime’ captures the heart of the Ponyfish engine, driving you to want more and recorded in the same fashion as the Stones did their recordings – Live, one take and everything swirling in and out of the mix!
