DESCRIPTION:Since embarking on a solo career in early 2018\, Emjay Angeni has melted hearts and captured imaginations throughout Australasia with her relaxed brand of coastal roots/pop and affable nature both on and off stage.\n\nInfluenced by the likes of Jack Johnson\, Ben Harper\, Donavon Frankenwrieter and Norah Jones; Emjay weaves a blend of her own original songs\, interpretations of crowd favourites and spontaneous stories which blend to casually invite her audiences to relax\, smile and engage with each other as well as her performance–and all with an ease you might feel if you were sat for a cup of tea in her living room.\n\nThis point of difference has seen her become a sought-after act by many West Australian venues of note\, including residencies playing six nights per week\, for months on end at famous locations such as El Questro Station and Lake Argyle Resort. Emjay has appeared at Nukara\, WAM Fest and Fluffstival music festivals as a solo artist\, supported acts the likes of Saritah\, Juzzie Smith\, Karin Page and Little Quirks\, and also performs as one half of folk duo “Moon & Honey” with her partner Dan White-who opened Good Day Sunshine Festival October 2020\, performing with the likes of John Butler\, XavierRudd\, Eskimo Joe\, and Vicki Thorne. In addition to this Emjay appeared as a feature vocalist with Fluid Groove act “Blue ChildCollective” who were awarded “Best Regional Act” at the 2019 West Australian Music Awards and were regulars on the festival and international touring circuit-recently playing NZ Spirit Fest\, Bendigo Blues and Roots\, Nannup Music Festival\, Nukara Music Festival and having supported such acts as Xavier Rudd\, Sticky Fingers and The Cat Empire.

DESCRIPTION:Settlers Tavern will be an action packed night and a free event!\nSalt & Steel are on the road again! This time\, heading west across South Australia and Western Australia.\nSalt and Steel offer a raw\, earthy rock experience\, blending psychedelic elements with the grounded essence of rock roots and blues. The couple live full time in their van\, ‘the solar powered recording and rehearsal studio’ and have performed at festivals across Australia like Woodford Folk Festival\, Party In the Paddock and Airlie Beach Festival of Music. Known for music that is ‘fierce\, emotive and genuine\,’ Nkechi Anele from Triple J Roots ‘n’ All describes them as a ‘dynamic duo who go from strength to strength\, bringing nothing less than power and passion to their music.’In 2024 Salt & Steel took their project to the world with an East Asian tour\, captivating audiences at ‘Kahilwayan Festival’ in the Philippines and ‘Its Garage Fest’ in Cambodia\, before returning to announce more headlining shows at Townsville Folk Festival and Airlie Beach Festival of Music. They finished a strong year by releasing a festive track in December.The two are starting 2025 strong with an Australian national support tour with ‘Wheatus’. This will be followed with their own headline tour across the country to Western Australia and to festivals such as Nannup Music Festival.
