SUMMARY:THE SINNERMATICS - SUNDAY SESSION
DESCRIPTION:The Sinnermatics are time travellers from the dawn of rock’n’roll. They hail from an age when the sound of youth rebellion exploded like a bomb. An era where people dressed as sharply as the fins on the stylish cars they drove.   \nRockabilly was a primal strain of this new dangerous music\, fusing black rhythm and blues with white country styles\, pioneered by Carl Perkins\, Gene Vincent\, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley  \nThe Sinnermatics play rock’n’roll as its originators intended.  \nThe band consists of Margaret River residents lead singer Peter Jones\, and amazing lead guitarist Inti Velazquez ((lead guitar). Double bass wizard Leon Pratt\, drummer John Flint complete the line up.  \nThe Sinnermatics Rockabilly band perform regularly in Perth at The Mustang Bar\, Alabama Song Bar\, The Ellington Jazz Club\, Honky Tonk Blues and Bar Orient in Fremantle\, as well as many other venues. The band also recently played to a packed audience at The Arts Margaret River Community Sundowner in Pioneer Park\, Cowaramup and AFL Grand Final day at Settler’s Tavern.  \nExpect to enjoy a high energy performance from these talented musicians with music that will keep you on your feet.

DESCRIPTION:Marksman Lloyd is a rapper/spoken word poet from Albany/Kinjarling\, Western Australia. He made a name for himself as runner up in the Australian national Poetry Slam at the Sydney Opera House in his formative years and has since developed an eclectic catalogue of music rooted in a mix of intelligent hip hop and folk/soul music that his father put him onto as a boy. Marksman has toured Australia\, the US and south east Asia\, amassed millions of streams on Spotify\, won the WAM song of the year\, earned rotation on MTV Asia & Australia\, is a TEDx performing poet and has had songs synced in Netflix films and advertisements across the globe. He’s supported the likes of Action Bronson\, Macklemore\, MGK and Peking Duk.

DESCRIPTION:Boodji Creek is looking forward to performing again at Settlers Tavern close to home for the family friendly timeslot of Sunday Session 3.30 till 6.30pm on 29 June.  We’ve been together as a five piece band for a few years now entertaining folks at venues around the south west such as the Shire Sundowner at Augusta\, Froth Brewery and the Sea Shanty Festival in Bunbury\, Boyup Brook Country Music Muster and also Fire in your Belly in Fremantle\, amongst others.  Acoustic music seems to be enjoying a revival so we are making the most of the fact that we are lovers of bluegrass\, country rock and Americana featuring impressive harmony vocals\, upright bass\, mandolins\, fiddle\, guitars\, banjo and dobro. From rollicking up tempo tunes to heartfelt balads and some radio hits\, Boodji Creek always provides something for everyone!
