Formed in 2002\, this Perth-based band blends traditional African rhythms with modern grooves\, featuring mbira\, rich percussion\, and songs in English and Shona that celebrate African life\, culture\, and joy. Multiple WA Music Award winners\, Shangarajive have supported legendary artists including Thomas Mapfumo and Oliver Mtukudzi.\nJoining them is Rumbie Tavaziva\, a powerful Zimbabwean singer-songwriter who has toured internationally with the late Chiwoniso Maraire and performed at festivals across Europe\, Mauritius\, and South Africa.
