The event is one of only two Australian stops on the prestigious World Surf League (WSL) World Championship Tour (CT)\, attracting the world’s top professional surfers to Margaret River. \nFrom April 11th\, the 2024 tour returns for 10 days of adrenaline-pumping competition\, serving as the mid-season decider. Expect nothing less than the world’s best surfers giving their all to secure their spot in the second half of the tour. \nAt Surfers Point\, spectators can enjoy live and free access to the bulk of the competition held at Main Break and The Box. The event hub offers a festival atmosphere\, complete with big screens showing replays\, expert commentary\, food trucks\, and merchandise stands. Plus\, young surf enthusiasts have the chance to meet their surfing idols\, who graciously take time after each heat to chat with fans\, sign autographs\, and snap selfies. \nDon’t miss out on the special events happening alongside the Pro\, including Rusty’s video launch\, an afterparty with Boston Switch\, and other live music performances. The producer\, DJ and notable pro surfer has been laying down the law with his alluring bass and tech house notions\, attaining over 300\,000 streams\, a barrage of YouTube spins and enviable spots on some of the country’s most renowned events and festivals\, while also being nominated for Western Australia Music’s Regional Song of the Year award. \nDelivering a wealth of standout productions\, the boston Switch sound is dance floor confronting and a true indication of his tech and bass house tenacity.
