Slick Operation

Despite this establishment being full a table was found for us quickly. Majority of staff are clearly backpackers but highly skilled in all aspects of hospitality. Service excellent. Orders at the bar for food were quickly and efficiently processed. Our meals were fabulous. Fun night.

Amazing Food and Service

We have never had such amazing service from the moment we walked in until we left. Staff were constantly walking around checking everything was ok. We started with the Bruschetta which was so full of flavour, I can’t tell you how delicious it was. We had fish and chips and Linguine, honestly it was all superb. You have to try it.

Great Atmosphere

A busy, vibrant place in the centre of town. A great menu with lots of choices, and extremely friendly and helpful staff who are eager to recommend local wines and beers. A great way to pass an afternoon sitting in the shade outside watching the world go by.

About the food we serve at Settlers Tavern – we use….

Australian Seafood: we source the freshest possible fish, WA line caught from the Southern & Indian Ocean, whenever available. Australian Oysters, on ice and shucked to order. WA Prawns, Australian calamari.

WA olive oil for sauces, rice bran oil to fry; Southwest free-range chicken.
All soups, desserts, sauces, aioli, mashed potato and marinades made from scratch in our kitchen.

Local wines: Settlers Tavern supports the local wine industry, especially the smaller family wineries – with well over 150 local wines on the list, many by the glass – look around, there’s bound to be a winemaker here at any given time! And we polish all those wine glasses by hand with ENJO eco bamboo T-towels!
