Manoa is a rising conscious roots musician hailing from California residing in Byron Bay. Blending 6 and 12 string guitars with Native American Flute and Didgeridoo, his music is medicine that allows audiences to explore the essence of the relationships between each other and Earth. Manoa draws upon his reggae and folk influences to weave a dynamic soundscape of upbeat songs with positive messages and intention.

After completing his PhD in Environmental Education in Western Australia, Manoa moved to Byron Bay and lived at the Bentley Blockade in 2014 for 3 months. There he experienced first hand the healing power of music. He spearheaded production of the album 'Songs of the Bentley Blockade', showcasing the grassroots music that was written by the Bentley 'protectors'.

Manoa recently completed a national tour and has been invited to share his music at Uplift Festival (2014), Nimbin Roots Festival (2016) and Splendour In The Grass (2016). He has played alongside various roots musicians including Oka, Murray Kyle and Nicky Bomba.

His 2015 single 'The Water Song' was included on an international compilation album 'Songs of Water' alongside Shimshai, Murray Kyle, Dustin Thomas, PEIA, and others and The Water Song music video was launched in collaboration with Uplift Connect in 2016. He is currently working on his first full length album.
