Multi-Instrumentalist Jay Hoad is back in Australia after a huge year in 2018, touring throughout Europe, India and the Pacific Islands, performing at some of the biggest festivals on the planet. He will be performing at the 2 shows at Settlers Tavern this year, a chill Sunday Session on Sun Apr 21st on the Deck, and the big shebang in the venue on the main stage on Fri Apr 26th.

Hoad's show is renowned for being something very unique, with almost 20 instruments on stage including drum kit, skateboard guitar, didgeridoos, etc. Blending his Fijian heritage island roots with heavy tribal beats, massive rock riffs, phat reggae, psy-trance, glitch hop, and much more. With a total of 7 full length albums recorded over the past 10 years, and having toured through a total of 42 countries, he is a well oiled machine when it comes to touring and bringing huge energy to the stage night after night.

Hoad was in Australia at the beginning of 2018 performing at Tamworth Music Festival NSW, Earth Frequency Festival QLD, as well as shows in Victoria and the Adelaide Fringe in SA before he went on to tour the world with this unique show. This year Hoad will performed over 160 shows across 15 countries, with festival performances scheduled for India and Europe including him just being announced for Glastonbury Festival 2019 and WOMAD in the UK.

"Looking so forward to the shows in Margaret River, the locals have always been so supportive of the show in this region and have had some really memorable shows here on past Australian Tours. I absolutely love WA and I've got a few days of downtime after the show so looking forward to checking out some of the countryside, definitely gonna juice me with good vibes to take around the Australia, Europe etc."

Hoad has 2 new albums coming out this year which he will be launching in conjunction with the Adelaide Fringe Festival finale party before he continues on to launch his new music around the entire coastline of Australia, and then around the world for the rest of 2019.

Says Jay "I'm very excited about this year's tour, so many cool locations and festivals on the various legs and really excited to bring the new tunes and instruments to the fans around the world. The "Skateboard Guitar" made by my good friend Craig Koen has been stealing the show at the festivals around the world, people just can't believe the sound that comes out of this thing!
