Elwood Gray is a saltwater bred, Alt-Country rocker of epic proportions.

At only 18 years old Elwood is a seasoned performer. His raw guitar picking and strong lyrics are reminiscent of a young Bruce Springsteen.

"The future of Broome's music is in safe hands," says Stephen Bart Pigram.

"Elwood Gray is WA's most exciting up and coming songwriter.."

Elwood began playing music by the fireside in The Great Sandy Desert on mandolin when he was six years old. Since then, he has developed into a dynamic, captivating performer. With lyrics crafted with an eloquence well beyond his eighteen years, Elwood has many a feather in his cap.

He has supported numerous acts such as The Waifs, Tijuana Cartel and Caravana Sun as well as sharing the stage with John Butler and The Pigram Brothers.

Elwood was one of the most talked about acts at this years Nannup Music Festival, with crowds flocking to see his shows.

He leaves his home in the Kimberley this summer to tour the West Coast in a veggie oil-fuelled van.
