Blue Child Collective

Saturday 19th May, 9:30pm.

A Fluid Groove collaboration born from the West Australian coastline, Blue Child Collective's easy-flowing, conscious song craft "evokes the gentle rhythms and roaring freedom of Australia's seaside" (Happy Mag).

Fronted by Dan White, an enthusiastic collaborator, multi-instrumentalist and fingerstyle artisan conjuring soundscapes spanning raging rhythmic grooves to bluesy licks and ethereal trips, this is music with purpose. From his thought-provoking lyrics to the Collective's engaging live performances, Blue Child Collective reminds us that we're all, in essence, children born of this blue planet and connected in our existence; one and the same.

The Collective's third record, "Saturn Saw The Seaside", captured in Corsica, France and released late 2016 has seen them knock out close to 300 shows across Europe, New Zealand and Australia over the last 18 months, bringing both full band dance offs and intimate duo performances to a rapidly growing global following.

Having supported major touring acts such as The Cat Empire, Sticky Fingers, Caravana Sun, OKA, Band Of Frequencies and many more, the group are notorious for their cross-pollination within and without the music industry. Having just released "Wattle Tree Corroboree", the first single from their new album and accompanying video colab with Emjay Angeni and Her Name Is Murder Productions, the track has taken them around Australia for the third time in the last 12 months.

With their fourth record, "Wake Up To The Sound", featuring some of the country's finest musicians due out in 2018 and multiple national tours to accompany, Blue Child Collective is rapidly growing into a major catalyst for positive change on a global scale as more and more people join the movement and contribute to the "Culture Of Connection".
