"They could be the next big thing out of WA, everyone could be talking about Big Orange" Al Grigg, FBi Radio

'"Goodnight Kiss Vampire Bite' is a belter of a tune, it's piano-driven pop ornately arranged but delivered with rock thrust. Originally the bedroom project for songwriter Daniel Davis, Big Orange come off like some of the best power-popsters such as The Posies combined with the rollicking feel and dry wit of Ben Folds." Amrap (Australian Music Radio Airplay Project)

"This band knows how to write a classic pop song." Dave Ruby Howe, Triple J

"They know their way into your head – the irresistible melodies of the first few songs they've released get stuck in your head for hours" Caitlin Nienaber, RTRFM

Big Orange is the musical project of singer and songwriter Daniel Davis and expands to a 4-piece rock show on stage. The band delivers a no-frills commitment to the time- honored tower of song, commanding attention with the snappy hooks of Davis's sharply written tunes.

Originating in the sleepy town of Harvey in Western Australia's South West and now residing in Perth City, Big Orange busted out of their suburban share house in 2016, gracing stages and captivating audiences from the get go. This emphatic response resulted in a number of coveted festival spots, including WAMfest, RTRFM's Winter Music Festival, North Freo Pub Crawl & Fremantle Hidden Treasures Festival.

The Band's most recent single "Goodnight Kiss Vampire Bite"released May 2018, was met with local and national praise further solidifying the bands place in the Australian music scene. The track was added toRTRfm's Sound Selectionupon release and went on to crack the number #4 spot in the Amrap (Australian Music Radio Airplay Project) Metro Charts& #3 in the Amrap regional charts. The track also aired onNational radio station Triple Jand was added to Double J's Best New Music playlist. The band went on to secure main support slots for WA hero's Jebediah as well as international actsAsh (Ireland)& Big Country (Scotland).

Big Orange will embark on a short South West tour early 2019, including 2 shows at Nannup Music Festival. The band will then be holing themselves away to record new material (partly in the lounge room of their share house and partly with maestro David Parkin at Blackbird Studios) before emerging mid-year, reenergized, new songs under the belt & a national tour on the horizon.
